摘要
针对负载短路或过载都会对线性稳压器造成性能不稳定或损坏。在限流型保护电路的基础上,采用TSMC0.18μm,设计并验证了一个高可靠性的短路保护电路。该短路保护电路采用电流镜电路按一定比例复制整流管电流,再通过采样电阻转变成相应的电压,最后通过反馈电路实现短路保护功能。ADS仿真结果表明,即使地平面存在大量噪声,只要发生负载短路,就能有效地关断线性稳压器,并可靠地维持其关断的状态。当负载短路消除后,系统将自动恢复到正常工作状态。
Based on a constant current limit circuit, a highly reliable current limit circuit for shortcircuit was designed and validated. Its working principle is that the rectifier current is mirrorred according to a certain scale based on current mirror circuit, and then through the sampling resistor into a corresponding voltage, finally current is limitted through the feedback circuit. ADS simulation results show that even if there is a large number of ground-level noise, it can effectively protect the regulators and keep the turn off state stably. Once the short-circuit condition is removed, the regulator system automatically returns to the normal operating mode.
