摘要
我国高校图书馆目前一般采用直接向社会公众开放、向社会提供信息参考咨询、与公共图书馆或社会机构资源共享、与地方政府共建图书馆等方式为社会提供信息服务。但是总体上看,高校图书馆普遍社会化服务意识不高,服务限制较多,相应管理机制不够完善,社会参与程度较低。为此,需要政府部门为高校图书馆确立社会服务职能,建立动力机制,同时高校图书馆自身要不断改进管理方式,坚持以大众化服务为主,积极参与公共文化服务体系建设。
University libraries provide information services for society through opening to the public, providing reference for the public, sharing resources with public libraries and social institutions, and building libraries with local government. However, university libraries generally have weak service awareness, many limitations of services, imperfect management mechanism and low level of social participation. Therefore, the government should define social service functions and establish dynamic mechanisms for university libraries, at the same time, university libraries should improve management methods, adhere to serving for the public, and participate into the construction of the public cultural service system actively.
