简要介绍了一种可视化编程工具──Delphi的功能和特点，并介绍了利用Delphi开发智能建筑监控系统用户操作界面的设计思想、系统构成与软件功能。阐述了作者使用Delphi编写监控系统软件的体会。
The characteristics and functions of Delphi, a visual programming tool. are introduced. In addition , a total design of the interface software of the monitor and control system in intellectualized buildings is given, including some ideas of the authors for the designing and programming of the software with Delphi.
