摘要
介绍了一种基于H.264的远程视频监控系统设计方案.H.264作为能提供比MPEG系列更高压缩率的一种编码/解码方法,在很大程度上增大了带宽的利用率,从硬件和软件两个方面描述了该系统,提出采用VBR方式进行码率控制,视频网络传输显示该设计能有效改善视频质量稳定性.
A H.264-based remote video surveillance system design is introduced in this paper.As H.264 provides a higher compression rate than MPEG family about a coding / decoding method,it can significantly enhance the bandwidth utilization.This paper describes both hardware and software of the system.Particularly,it chooses mode of VBR for the use of rate control.The data show that the system can effectively improve the stability of video quality.
