中国传统建筑彩绘历史悠久、丰富多彩,是建筑艺术的一个重要组成部分。彩绘造型和色彩运用源于实际施工方案设计图,具有固定不变和程式化的特点,这种模式化的操作方式加速了工程进度,在实践中因地制宜、灵活运用图案纹饰和色彩,又具很强的装饰性,适应社会发展需要。
