摘要
本文是一项培养大学新生英语自主学习能力的"三维一体"教学模式改革实验研究。四个实验班采用新的"三维一体"教学模式,四个控制班则沿用传统的以班为固定单位的常规教学模式。实验前两组学生的英语水平和自主学习能力都处于同一个水平。经过两个学期的教学实验,两组学生不仅在自主学习能力而且在考试成绩方面都存在显著差异。这表明"三维一体"教学模式不仅有利于培养学生的英语自主学习能力,而且有利于提高他们的英语成绩。
The "Three-in-One" teaching model is an empirical study intended to promote freshmen's autonomous English learning. Four experiment elasses adopt this new model, while four control classes follow the convention in instrnetion. Prior to the experiment, the two groups are at the same level of English proficiency and autonomous learning. As a result of the twoterm experiment, the two groups of students significantly vary in both the level of autonomy and grades in their English tests. Thus, the study indicates that the "Three-in-One" teaching model helps the improvement of learners' autonomy and their English achievements as well.
