摘要
爱尔兰诗人谢默斯·希尼的诗歌具有从日常生活中提炼出神奇想象的能力,这主要来自他在诗歌中发展的一种陈示式叙述。这种叙述首先重建日常经验的权威性,并以一种不带先见的直陈态度观察日常事物,然后在诗人已有知识的基础上,通过日常事物具有的启示性,突破自我局限,获得对人类、对宇宙、对生命更深入博大的理解。
Seamus Heaney was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1995 for his ability to exalt everyday miracles,which comes mainly from the indicative mood of his poetic narratives.This indicative mood first of all re-establishes the authority of everyday experiences and observes everyday objects from an unassertive viewpoint.After that,with the help of his knowledge and the revealing possibility of objective observation,the poet and the reader might transcend their personal limits to achieve a deeper and wider understanding of life,humanity and the universe.
