The Kinetics of Thermal Degradation of A Halogen-Free Flame-Retarded Polypropylene

摘要 利用Kissinger、Flynn-Wall-Ozawa(FWO)及Coast-Redfern方法研究了聚丙烯(PP)和IFR/SiO2/PP体系的热分解动力学。结果表明,IFR/SiO2添加提高了PP的主分解阶段活化能,增强了PP阻燃性能。PP热分解机理函数g(α)=-ln(1-α),反应级数n=1,为随机成核和随后增长反应;IFR/SiO2/PP体系热分解机理函数为g(α)=1-(1-α)1/4,反应级数n=1/4。 Thermal stability and thermal degradation kinetics of polypropylene (PP) and IFR/SiO2/PP were investigated by a conventional dynamic thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) under highly purity N2 atmosphere at different heating rates between 15 ℃/min and 35 ℃/min,and the thermal degradation activation energy of PP and IFR/SiO2/PP was determined by using Kissinger and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa method.It shows that the addition of IFR/SiO2/PP changes the degradation route of PP,enhances the thermal degradation activation energy and the flame retardance of PP.The thermal degradation kinetic mechanism and the isothermal kinetic equations of PP and IFR/SiO2/PP were determined by Coast-Redfern method.The thermal decomposition mechanism of PP is random nucleation reaction and the kinetic equation can be expressed as g(α)=-ln(1-α),and the reaction order is n=1.The kinetic equation of IFR/SiO2/PP can be expressed as g(α)=1-(1-α)1/4,and the reaction order is n=1/4.
