城市特色具有丰富的内涵,是展现城市魅力的重要元素。在城市化加速发展的当今,如何保护、延续和创新城市特色是城市规划者面对的共同难题。本文介绍了城市特色的定义和意义,解析了中国目前城市特色的现状,列举了发达国家或地区在塑造城市特色方面的成功经验,探讨了解决我国快速城市化进程中城市"特色危机"的途径,并以长沙为样本来设想怎样在发展中体现星城的特色。
The characteristic of a city has its own connotation and could represent some important elements of its charm.With the development of accelerated urbanization,the protection,maintenance and recreation of the city＇s characteristic become a common topic of the city planner.The paper introduces the concept and significance of a city＇s characteristic,and analyzes the current situation of the city＇s characteristic in China.The successful experience of shaping the characteristic of a city in some developed countries or regions is enumerated,and the solution to the Characteristic Crisis during the fast urbanization in China is discussed.Changsha,the capital city of Hunan Province is used as a sample in this paper to visualize how to show its characteristic during its development.
