摘要
"十八土司"属地虽以嘉绒藏族为主,通常被称作"嘉绒十八土司",但其属民所说语言却远非嘉绒语一种。文章在前人调查研究基础上,对"十八土司"的分布范围及属地上存在的语言种类(包括一些尚未调查的语言)进行了系统梳理,指出实际上除嘉绒之外尚有十几种人群在该区域活动着。同时对这些语言的特点进行了探讨。
The major groups who live in Jiarong Eighteen Chieftain＇s possession are Jiarong Tibetan, but people who live there don＇t speak just Jiarong language. On the basis of our predecessors＂ investigation and research,in the article the languages （including some languages have not conducted ）in Jiarong Eighteen Chieftain＇s possession are categorized systematically, and it is pointed out that ＂in fact there are more than a dozen groups of people except of Jiarong. The article also discusses the features of these languages carefully.
