摘要
目的：探讨不同年代精神科病人住院期间死亡原因的变迁。方法：对我院精神科１９４８～１９９７年期间住院病人５４３４１例中死亡的１７８例作回顾性调查。结果：总死亡率为０．３３％，逐年有明显下降，并发症及躯体疾患死亡者亦逐年下降。死亡以自杀最多（３７．６％），其次为躯体疾患（３０．９０％）。结论：说明５０年来医院管理水平、医疗质量有明显提高，但仍应做好病房管理工作。
Objective:To study the change in the cause of death of psychiatric patients over fifty years time. Method:Records of a total of 54 341 inpatients admitted to the hospital between 1948 and 1997 were reviewed. Results:178(0 33%)died during hospital stay.Suicide(37 6%)topped the list.Death caused by medical diseases(30 9%)came second.The annual incidence decreased significantly with time,and was marked by the substantial decrease in death due to medical diseases and treatment complication. Conclusion:Decreasing trend of death of psychiatric inpatients suggested improvement management in the past fifty years.However,completed suicide remains substantial and more effort for prevention is required.
