摘要
为弥补黄海海域缺乏洋面风实测资料,提高该海域海洋大风预报能力,对NASAQuikSCAT极轨卫星的10m散射风原始轨道资料和江苏近海黄海区域海洋站风资料进行了对比,并对QuikSCAT风应用于沿海大风预报的能力做了研究。结果表明,QuikSCAT散射风原始轨道资料在江苏近海区域具有可信性:江苏近海海洋站与QuikSCAT风速误差为-0.01m/s,散射计风速略低于海洋站的风速;两者风向偏差为2.31°。利用QuikSCAT矢量风和海洋站实况的订正关系对热带气旋大风圈范围和强度预测做了尝试性工作,表明QuikSCAT散射计矢量风资料对江苏近海区域强风有很好的预报能力。
The statistical character of QuikSCAT scatterometer winds over the Huanghai sea was studied in terms of QuikSCAT Science Data Products distributed by the NASA Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Centre(PO.DAAC)at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.The results showed that the QuikSCAT scatterometer winds can be relied upon for the Huanghai sea.The wind speed error between Jiangsu offshore sea stations and QuikSCAT is-0.01 m/s,which shows the scatterometer wind speed lower than that of sea stations with the wind direction bias being 2.31 degree.And the application study of QuikSCAT data indicate that the data are cappable of forecasting the maximum wind range and the intensity of tropical cyclone in 2009.
