摘要
湄公河——恒河合作倡议的诞生是印度和湄公河下游五国外交安全战略考虑和经济利益驱使下的产物。倡议经过十年发展取得了一定的成效但也存在不少问题。倡议未来的发展前景可能受到印度的重视得以推动,也有可能与孟加拉湾多领域经济技术合作倡议合并,并不排除有美国和日本等大国介入的可能。
Mekong-Ganga Cooperation Initiative is a creation based on consideration of foreign relations and security strategy and benefit,seeking common development by India and Mekong downstream five nations.It achieved some progress after decade development but still facing a few difficulties as well.In the future,India could further push development of the Initiative,or probably merge with BIMSTEC.Maybe,it is possible that the Western powers involve in the Initiative.
