摘要
本文回顾了美国LFC技术的发展历程,重点介绍了LFC技术以及在该技术基础上改进的CCI技术的工艺,并简要介绍了LFC技术在中国的应用及发展。通过与国际同类技术比较,结合我国劣质煤资源现状,综合分析认为,LFC及其改进的技术可作为成熟先进的煤提质转油技术,推动我国低阶煤加工工业发展。
The article reviewed the development and application of Liquid From Coal (LFC) technology,which focused on low rank coal (LRC) upgrading with cogeneration of coal liquids,in the United States and the world.LFC technology was developed by SGI International in 1980s and 1990s and demonstrated in an industrial scale plant,ENCOAL,in late of 1990s.The LFC process produced a process derived fuel(PDF ) that was a clean coal upgraded from a LRC,and a coal derived liquid (CDL)that could be upgraded to liquid fuels and chemicals.Recently Convert Coal,Inc.(CCI) modified the LFC technology to an improved CCI process for converting lignite and sub-bituminous LRC in part into a Synthetic Crude Oil (SCO) suitable for petroleum refining,and in part into low-emission coal-char fuel (CCF) for power generation and iron ore reduction.The author with experiences in LFC development in the U.S.also described the application and development of the technology in China.Compared to similar technologies,LFC and its improved processes that embody advancements with regard to coal liquids yield,process operability and technology maturity have good commercial application potential for the large LRC resources in China and the world.
