基于宏单元实验的荫罩式PDP结构的优化

Structure Optimization of Shadow Mask Plasma Display Panel Based on Macro Cell Studies

摘要 本文分析了荫罩式等离子体显示板(SMPDP)的优点和存在的不足,以提高PDP放电效率为目的,提出了非对称SMPDP结构。用宏单元实验研究的方法,比较了两种SMPDP的放电特性,确认非对称结构的红外辐射强度和红外效率比原有结构有较大提高。通过扫描电极结构的优化,使非对称结构的红外效率又有了进一步的提高。 The structure of the shadow mask plasma display panel(SMPDP) was optimized with the newly-developed unsymmetrical structure to enhance its strengths and to eliminate its weaknesses.The structure optimization aims to increase the discharge efficiency of the PDP.The discharge characteristics of the two SMPDP types were evaluated and compared via the micro-cell study.The results show that when it comes to the infrared radiation(IR) intensity and the infrared efficiency,the SMPDP with unsymmetrical structure outperforms the conventional SMPDP.In addition,structure optimization of the scanning electrode has further significantly improved the IR efficiency of the unsymmetrical-structured SMPDP.
