摘要
关联理论对指导外语阅读教学,提高阅读技能都具有重要的理论参考和实践意义。从关联理论看,阅读理解也是一种语言交际活动,是读者从明示信息来推导作者的信息意图和交际意图的过程。在阅读教学中,教师应有意识地向学生传授关联理论的相关知识,指导学生在阅读过程中如何运用关联理论进行推理,进而提高他们的语用识别能力。
Relevance theory has a theoretical and practical significance to the English reading teaching and the improvement on reading skills. On the perspective of relevance theory, reading comprehension is a language communication activity, which is a process that the readers infer the information and communicative purpose from the implication. In the teaching process of English reading, teachers should consciously impart the knowledge of relevance theory to the students in order to guide the students to infer by using the relevance theory during reading so as to improve their pragmatic recognition ability.
