摘要
在波分复用( W D M )光纤通信系统中, 群速度色散( G V D)、自相位调制( S P M )、互相位调制( X P M )以及四波混频( F W M )等非线性效应能明显降低系统性能。给出了此类系统中四波混频效应的简单估算公式, 以及在采用单信道方法仿真波分复用系统的非线性效应时, 为保证计算精度所需的步长的选取公式。提出了一种基于求解多信道耦合波方程组的群速度色散/自相位调制/互相位调制/四波混频仿真算法, 可大大减少计算工作量。
In w avelength division m ultiplexing ( W D M ) optical fiber com m unication sys tem s, the signal quality after transm ission can be severely im paired by self phase m odulation( S P M ), cross phase m odulation ( X P M ) and four w ave m ixing ( F W M ) effects. A sim pleform ula to estim ate F W M effect is derived. Furtherm ore, during the nonlinearity sim ulationin W D M system s by single channel m ethod, a step size form ula is proposed to optim ize be tw een com puting accuracy and speed. An alternative sim ulation m ethod for G V D, S P M , X P M and F W M based on m ultiple channel coupled w ave equations is also developed, result ing in significant decrease in com putation w orkload.
