摘要
利用立体视频序列视点间相关性及单视点内相关性,提出了一种面向立体视频传输的错误隐藏算法。从基于H.264/AVC立体视频编码结构出发,推断出受损块的参考模式;然后基于出错块的内容特征,根据块视差活力度(TDA)或块运动活力度(TMA)的大小,内容自适应地选择恰当的视点间及时域错误隐藏方法对受损块进行错误掩盖。实验结果表明,较常用的错误隐藏算法,经新算法修复后的图像具有更佳的主客观质量。在不同量化参量(QP)、不同出错帧宏块丢失率(MB)的情况下,与普通JM算法相比,对于纹理相对简单的立体视频序列,经本文算法修复后图像PSNR值平均提高1.01~3.95 dB,对于纹理复杂的立体视频序列,PSNR值平均提高0.11~0.26 dB。
A new error concealment algorithm for stereoscopic video transmission was proposed by exploiting inter-view and intra-view correlations in stereoscopic video sequences.The proposed algorithm was used to the H.264/AVC-based encoding structure of stereoscopic video.It determined the reference mode of the corrupted blocks firstly.Then,according to content characteristics of the erroneous block,disparity activity or motion activity was defined to decide which appropriate inter-view or temporal concealment mode would be used for recovering the missing block.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the conventional concealment methods in terms of subjective evaluations.For the stereoscopic video with relatively simple textures,PSNR of concealed frames is improved by about 1.01-3.95 dB on average compared with concealment method in JM10.1,and for stereoscopic video with complex textures,the improvement is about 0.11-0.26 dB under different QP values and different macroblock loss rates.
