摘要
子网自从诞生以来就是为网络服务，为了使原本已经非常紧张的IP地址资源得到充分的利用；子网掩码则是用来区分网络地址中的网络ID和主机ID，它屏蔽IP地址的一部分，从而从IP地址中分离出网络ID和主机ID。但是要如何才能使IP地址得到充分的利用？这需要将子网划分为2的m次方，经过一些运算得到子网掩码，在子网掩码被设计出来后，子网就被成功的划分了。IP地址就是这样得到更有效的利用的。而在网络中子网及子网掩码还有其特殊的作用，这些作用有很多，他们才是子网及子网掩码在网络中的真正作用!
