摘要
译者缺失话语权是不争的事实。主要体现在译者对翻译作品的选材缺乏主动权,翻译方法受到主流思想的束缚以及翻译理论研究缺乏创新等方面。这可以归因于翻译作品原文化的强势、原作者的强势、国内外翻译理论的强势以及主流意识形态的强势。论述了译者话语权的重要性,分析了译者话语权缺失的原因,探讨如何在翻译领域建立译者的话语权。
It is an inarguable fact that translators are lacking in discourse power,which is mainly embodied in their lack of initiative in choosing translation materials,their method being constrained by mainstream thoughts,and their lack of innovation in the research in translation theory.This can be attributed to the superiority of the original works,of the original writers,of translation theories at home and abroad,as well as of the mainstream ideology.This paper expounds the importance of translators＇ discourse power,analyzes the causes of their lack of discourse power,and explores methods of constructing their discourse power in the realm of translation.
