摘要
作为理解现代性极端发展的两个维度,个人主义和纯粹工具理性已经渗透进现代社会的政治、经济和文化领域,其结果是:道德教化在社会各领域全方位退场,从而陷入现代性困境之中。面对现代性自我观念的形成与教化权威的式微,现代性工具理性崇拜与人之德性的错位,独白性教化传统的延续与个体反抗中的迷失等现实困境,只有将道德教化根植于以交往实践为基础的生活世界,通过完善道德教化实施的内在机制,积极重构中国传统的德性道德,才能完成对现代性道德教化困境的超越。
As two dimensions to comprehend the extreme development of modernity, individualism and instrumental rationality have penetrated into the political, economic and cultural fields of modern society. The result is that moral cultivation withdraws from all areas of society, and then gets into the modernity predicaments. These predicaments include the formation of self-concept of modernity and the decline of authority of cultivation, the adoration of instrumental rationality and the dislocation of human virtue, the continuation of the traditional monolog cultivation and the lost individuals who resist moral cultivation. In order to solve these problems and tran- scend the predicaments of moral cultivation, we should make moral cultivation rooted in life world which bases on interaction, and reconstruct the Chinese traditional virtue morality by improving the internal mechanism of moral cultivation.
