Learning Progressions:New Approaches to American Science Education Reform

摘要 学习进程是近几年美国科学教育改革中出现的新理念,描述学生在恰当的教学条件下,对科学概念以及相关科学实践的理解和应用能力,以及随着时间的推移逐渐生长,趋于复杂、深入的过程。学习进程具有以下三个特点:由起点、中间过程和目标构成;基于学生对核心概念理解过程的实证研究;需经过实证验证。学习进程有望将课程、教学、评价三者联系起来,实现科学教育的转变。 The concept of learning progressions has emerged in American science education reform in recent years. LPs are ordered descriptions about how students understanding of core scientific concepts and explanations and related scientific practices grow and become more sophisticated over time,with approach instruction. LPs has three characters:The components of LPs are start points,intermediate steps and targets; Based on empirical evidence of how students'understanding of core ideas develops over time;LPs will entail empirical validation studies. LPs hold the promise of transforming science education by providing better alignment between curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
