摘要
陈垣先生是享誉海内外学术界的世界级学者。他在"发见时代",勇于利用敦煌所出新材料,开拓新领域,研究新问题,引领学术研究新潮流,取得了举世瞩目的新成就。《敦煌劫余录》、《跋西凉户籍残卷》和《摩尼教入中国考》,就是陈垣先生利用敦煌新材料以研求问题的代表作。尤其是《敦煌劫余录》,更是敦煌学研究不可或缺之工具。他对于我国敦煌学研究的兴起和发展,实具有奠基和开创之功。
Mr.Mr.Chen Yuan is known as a world-class scholar.In the ＂Discoveries of the Times＂,he took advantage of new materials,opened up new areas,studied new questions in the field of Dunhuang Studies,and gained new remarkable achievements.His masterpieces include The Records of Dunhuang Material after Robbing,Postscript of Xiliang Household Fragments and Verification of the Way Manichaeism Enters China.Among them,The Records of Dunhuang Material after Robbing is regarded as one of the indispensable tools of Dunhuang Studies.Thus we believe that Chen Yuan is a founder and creator in the development of Dunhuang Studies.
