基于实证视角看中国高校外语教师科研现状及发展瓶颈 被引量:60

On the present conditions and development bottleneck of foreign language teachers’ academic research in Chinese institutions of higher learning from an empirical perspective

摘要 中国部分高校外语教师远没有将科研提高到与教学并重的地位,科研成了外语教师队伍的传统弱项。通过比较外国语言文学与中国语言文学等其他人文社会科学学科公开出版的相关统计数据,本文对我国高校外语教师队伍在科研方面存在的突出问题进行了梳理和分析,并从学科建设、博士研究生教育、学科带头人和学术骨干队伍建设、学术期刊平台建设4个方面深入剖析了制约高校外语教师科研发展的瓶颈。最后,文章提出成立国家层面的外语学科发展战略管理机构、科学制订外语学科发展规划、建立学科梯队培育体系、加快外语类学术期刊平台建设等有针对性的建议。 In Chinese institutions of higher learning, it is quite common that foreign language teachers pay much less attention to academic research than to teaching, which turns academic research into their traditional weakness. To probe into this issue, this paper compares the relevant published statistics of foreign language with those of some other disciplines of social science. The paper begins with an analysis of the prominent problems in foreign language teachers' academic research. Then it carries out a profound exploration of bottleneck factors in foreign language teachers' academic research from four perspectives: discipline construction, doctoral education, cultivation of aca- demic leaders and development of academic journals. Finally', the paper puts forward four practical suggestions: to found a national strategy management institution for foreign language discipline development, to make a scientific planning for foreign language discipline development, to establish a cultivation system of research teams, and to speed up development of academic journals of foreign languages.
