本文介绍的矢量编码属于图像信息非保持编码,它是根据色度学理论来实现彩色图像数据压缩的。本文详细地介绍了该种编码方法的原理及其在微型机上的具体实现。
The vector coding touched in this article is a kind of coding based on the theories of color metrics, which belongs to non-preserving coding of image information. By means of it, we can reach the purpose of data compression for still color images by selecting a certain threshold as visual permitted condition. This article will illustrate the principle and implementation of it in detail.
