摘要
美国科学家关于内源性气体分子一氧化氮(NO)和一氧化碳(CO)生物学效应的研究开创了生命调节的新理论。我们近年来提出在心血管功能调节中还存在第三个气体信号分子硫化氢(H2S)[1-4],这推进了生命科学领域科学研究的进步。
The endogenous cardiovascular generation, physiological and pathophysiological effects of SO2 on cardiovascular diseases have been recently studied. It has been demonstrated that SO2 plays important physiological and pathophysiological roles in relaxing blood vessels, inhibiting cardiac function, improving vascular remodeling, inhibiting inflammation, anti-oxidation, and regulating lipid metabolism; thus playing a significant role in the pathogenesis of pulmonary hypertension, systemic, hypertension, myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and acute lung injury, etc. SO2 may be a novel gasotransmitter which plays an important role in mammals.
