摘要
目的观察牙齿移动过程中咖啡因对牙槽骨改建的影响。方法建立大鼠正畸牙移动模型,分别按照每日10mg/100 g、2.5mg/100g给予咖啡因,在加力前及加力后第1天,第3天,第7天,第14天,第21天和第28天处死大鼠,通过H-E和TRAP染色观察牙周组织变化情况,行破骨细胞计数。结果每日10mg/100g组压力侧破骨细胞数量多于对照组和每日2.5mg/100g组,牙槽骨吸收明显;而张力侧成骨作用不活跃,新生骨不如对照组和每日2.5mg/100g组明显。结论牙齿移动过程中适当饮用咖啡因对牙槽骨的代谢没有明显影响,而大量饮用咖啡因则对骨的代谢具有潜在的影响,可能影响牙槽骨的改建。
Objective To investigate the effect of caffeine on alveolar bone remodeling during orthodontic tooth movement in rats. Methods Fifty-four male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups: group A (n = 18) in which animals did not received caffeine ingestion; high and low dose caffeine groups(group B and C, n = 18 in each group) in which animals ingesting l0 mg or 2.5 mg/100 g body weight of caffeine via drinking water everyday. The upper right first molars were moved orthodontically by using a coil spring. The rats were sacrificed in 1,3,7,14,21 and 28 d after given caffeine in drinking water. Tissue sections were observed underligbt microscope after haematoxylin-eosin(H-E) and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) histochemistry. Results The result shown a significant increase number of osteoclast cells in the compression side and decrease osteoblast cells in the tention side in high-dose caffeine group compared with low dose caffeine and non-caffeine groups. Conclusion The present study indicated that daily intake of high doses caffeine may have an effect on the alveolar bone remodeling during orthodontic tooth movement.
