摘要 第三代合作伙伴计划(3GPP)长期演进(LTE)系统与上一代无线通信网络相比,在基站传输速率和小区容量上都有了极大的提高,相应地对网络无线资源管理功能也提出了更高的要求。文章探讨了无线资源管理中的一个重要方面:负载均衡的问题。首先分析了网络中小区可能发生过载的原因,并讨论了传统的基于小区切换的解决方法可能存在的风险。随后提出一种以缩小终端搜索范围、并能避免乒乓效应为特征的算法。仿真结果表明,该算法能够实现小区中无线资源的优化分布。 Comparing to 3G system,3GPP LTE has achieved both greater transmission rate and cell capacity,which means a much higher performance requirement on network Radio Resource Management(RRM).In this paper,a key aspect of RRM,load balancing,is discussed.First,possible reasons leading to cell overload occurrence is analyzed,with investigation of potential risks result from traditional solutions in which cell handover is utilized.Then we have proposed a novel algorithm features in reduce searching scope of user equipment and avoidance of ping-pong effect.Simulation results show that this scheme could achieve optimized distribution of radio resources.
