An investigation of corrosion behavior of metal and alloy in biodiesel

摘要 文章考察了铜、铁、铝和不锈钢4种金属浸泡在菜籽油生物柴油(RME)中经受腐蚀后,生物柴油油品的物理化学性能变化情况,以期对生物柴油的腐蚀安定性作全面了解;同时,对市售0#柴油经受4种金属腐蚀试验后的理化性能进行研究。结果表明:在43℃下,4种金属浸泡60 d后,紫铜对生物柴油的理化性能影响最大,导致生物柴油的酸值增大约16.48倍,过氧化值增大约14.58倍,运动黏度增加率为18.84%;其他金属对生物柴油均有类似的影响,而0#柴油的理化性能变化不大。生物柴油对金属的化学腐蚀是导致生物柴油性能变化的主要原因之一。 The variations of physical and chemical properties of biodiesel before and after corrosion tests with copper,mild steel,aluminum,stainless steel in RME were investigated in this paper.And the results were compared with those of 0# diesel in order to better understand the corrosion stabilities of biodiesel with various metals.The results showed that the physical and chemical properties of the biodiesel changed seriously as the copper was immersed into the biodiesel at 43 ℃ for 60 d,and that compared with those results before corrosion,the acid number and peroxide number of the biodiesel increased about 16.48 and 14.58 times respectively,and the kinetic viscosity increased 18.84%.Other metals turned out the similar effects on the biodiesel when they were immersed into the biodiesel.However,the physic and chemical properties of 0# diesel changed little under the same experimental conditions.The chemical corrosion was the main reason causing the variations of biodiesel properties.
