摘要
从挤出吹塑中空工业制件壁厚不均匀原因分析出发,提出挤出吹塑成型中局部抽真空的方法,建立了抽真空系统。然后,通过挤出吹塑成型中局部抽真空工艺优化制件壁厚,使制件壁厚的方差由0.4739减小到0.1303,制件壁厚均匀性大大提高,为中空工业制件的壁厚优化提供了一种有效方法。
A novel technique was developed to improve the uniformity of the wall thickness of the hollow industrial work-pieces produced by extrusion blow molding.In the technique,vacuum pumps are employed at optimized positions of the equipment,and a dedicated vacuum system was designed,optimized,and constructed.The preliminary results on industrial scale show that the localized pumping significantly reduces the root-mean-square wall-thickness from 0.4739 to 0.1303.In addition,the quality of the work-pieces produced by the newly developed technique seems much better than that made by the conventional method.For example,the products have better-defined structures and features,smoother and more compact appearance,fewer defects and deformations.The design considerations,strengths,weaknesses and room for improvement of the technique were also discussed in a though provoking way.
