Objective: To investigate the clinical effect and value of Uremic Clearance Granule in the treatment of chronic renal failure. Methods: 150 patients with chronic renal failure patients were divided into observation group (76 cases) and control group (74 cases). The patients in control group were treated by the conventional diet therapy and comprehensive therapy, and patients in the observation group were taken Uremic Clearance Granule 4 times a day and one bag each time (5.0 g) for 2 months on the basis of the control group. The changes of clinical therapeutic efficacy, blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and serum creatinine (Scr) of two groups were observed and analyzed. Results: The efficacy of two groups were compared after the treatment of 2 months, the observation group was significantly better than those in control group (P〈 0.05); the BUN, Scr of observation group decreased obviously compare with pretreatment (P〈0.05); the BUN of control group decreased obviously compare with pretreatment (P〈0.05), and there was no statistical significance with Scr improve- ment (P〉0.05); after treatment, the BUN, Scr of observation group had decreased which had statistical significance compare with control group (P〈0.05). Conclusion: Uremic Clearance Granule has the significant improvement for clinical symptoms of chronic renal failure patients. It could delay the deterioration of renal function and improve the survival quality with cheap and easy administration that it is worthy of clinic application.
