摘要
高职院校设置英语选修课很有必要。英语选修课的设置应遵循以下原则:选修课程应该是必修课的拓展与延伸,应以学生的兴趣为基础,拓宽学生的知识面和文化视野,帮助学生拓宽就业渠道、增强就业竞争力;教学策略上应采取多种教学方法和手段,提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力,培养学生积极向上的情感态度,为未来发展奠定良好的基础;选修课的评价应倡导关注过程的形成性评价,促进学生全面发展。
There is a great necessity for launching English selective courses in higher vocational colleges.The launching of English selective courses in higher vocational colleges should follow the following principles： selective courses should extend the contents of compulsory courses,develop the students＇ interest,enlarge the students＇ cultural horizons,and help them to get better positions in their future employment.In teaching,teachers should adopt effective teaching strategies and teaching aids to develop the students＇ ability to solve problems in their future work,cultivate the students＇ positive emotions and lay a good foundation for their continuing development.The evaluation of selective courses should adopt formative assessment to promote the all-round development of students.
