摘要
通过对OTDR脉宽对短距离光纤样品衰减系数测试结果影响的分析和环境试验中短距离光纤样品衰减变化测试结果的分析,认为500 m及500 m以内光纤或光缆样品不适合采用OTDR测试衰减系数,提供测试的光纤或光缆样品应尽可能长一些,在2 km左右较为合适。
Through the analysis of the impact of OTDR pulse width on the attenuation coefficient measuring results of short distance of fibers, and the analysis of attenuation change of medium length of fibers during environment tests, it is considered that the fibers and fiber optic cables with g00 m or less length are not suitable to use OTDR for measuring attenuation coefficient, and the fibers or fiber optic cables to be measured should be as long as possible, and 2 km is relatively appropriate.
