摘要
基于像素精确定位方法来实现车牌定位,然后对车牌进行灰度化、二值化处理,避免了对整个汽车图像先图像处理后车牌定位的繁琐过程,将改进的模板匹配算法应用于字符识别中,最后,利用MATLAB的图形用户开发环境设计出了本系统的测试平台,经过大量车牌样本验证,该车牌识别系统准确率较高.
Precise positioning of vehicle license plate location was realized with pixel-based method.Graying and binarization process was made to the license plate to replace the complex method that deal with the whole car image first.Then this paper put forward an improved template matching algorithm in application of character recognition.Finally,a test platform was designed using the GUIDE in Matlab.A large number of actual scene samples had confirmed that this license plate recognition system had a high rate of accuracy.
