摘要
政府是支持科学技术发展的强大动力,对科学研究的财政支出逐年增加。而公众对科学技术研究的经费使用问题,常有质疑的声音。我们通过问卷调查发现,社会公众对科学技术发展热情很高,认为海洋科技是应重点投入的领域。社会公众愿意为科学技术,尤其是海洋科技发展愿意提供的资金远高于实际相关科技领域所获得的经费,这表明,从公众角度来看,科学技术,尤其是海洋科技领域,还有较大的加大投资的空间。
The government supports the development of science and technology and increases financial expenditure in scientific research every year. However, the public question the funds spent in scientific research. We have conducted a questionnaire survey and found that the public are enthusiastic about the development of science and technology and hope that the government will increase its input in marine science and technology. The social public are willing to provide science and technology, especially marine science and technology, with funds which are far more than those gained in other related fields of science and tech- nology. This shows that from the perspective of the public there is still much room for larger investment in science and technology, especially in marine science and technology.
