摘要
为提高脉冲调制器的可靠性,设计了基于大功率绝缘栅双极性晶体管模块为开关的大功率固态调制器系统。调制器采用加法器结构,设计输出脉冲功率160 mW,脉冲电压80 kV,脉冲电流2 kA。详细介绍了大功率调制器的电路拓扑和系统参数,重点阐述了大功率调制器的组件电路。介绍了绝缘栅双极性晶体管的驱动电路,给出了组件的输出波形,进行了调制器组件负载打火实验,给出了实验结果,证实组件保护电路可行。介绍了调制器的系统结构,分析了影响调制器输出波形的关键因素,给出了调制器的实验结果,并模拟了调制器负载过流情况,验证了调制器过流保护电路的可靠性。实验结果表明,调制器系统满足设计要求。
The high-power solid-state modulator adopted the high-power IGBT modules as switch is designed to improve reliability of the pulse modulators. The modulator with adder topology can generate 80 kV, 2 kA and 160 mW pulse power. The circuit topology and the system parameters of the high-power modulator are introduced in details as well as the module circuit of the high-power modulator. The IGBT drive is introduced and the output waveforms of the modules are provided. The load arcing of the modules is simulated, and the results of the experiment is presented, which proves that the protection is feasible. The system structure of the modulator is introduced, and the key factors, which affect the output performance of the modulator, are analyzed. The experiment results of the modulator are given. The simulation of load over current validates the reliability of the overcurrent protection of the modulator. The experiment results show that the modulator meet the design requirements.
