关于留学生汉语入学分班测试决策效度的思考 被引量:10

摘要 分班测试(placement test)不仅是对外汉语教学组织工作的基本环节之一,而且是提高对外汉语教学效率的重要保障措施。本文在对分班测试的形式、目的和原则进行初步探讨的基础上,专门针对分班测试决策的准确性问题进行了讨论,并建议将多元聚类分析(multivariate cluster analysis)法运用到汉语入学分班测试的决策实践中去,以提高分班测验分数的使用具有较高的决策效度,并确保课堂教学具有较强的针对性,满足个性化教学的要求。 Since the placement test is intended to p rovide information which will help place students in appropriate classes,the administering of the placement test for the entrance students is one of the most important procedures to ensure teaching efficiency.This article,based on the discussion of theoretical and practical perspectives of second language teaching approach,addresses itself to the decision accuracy of placement test, and provides a general description of the application of multivariate cluster analysis to the decision procedures of placement test.It suggests that hierarchical clustering analysis could be used to place the students in a considerably homogeneous class.
