摘要
美国图书馆协会为美国图书馆事业的发展做出了卓越的贡献。2010年6月通过的《美国图书馆协会2015战略规划》明确了美国图书馆协会未来5年的任务、战略目标和主要活动领域,彰显了其行业使命和社会责任。通过对《美国图书馆协会2015战略规划》的分析发现,美国图书馆事业的发展走向可归纳为6个方面:服务、馆藏和员工的多样化;利用新技术促进创新与变革;加强宣传以争取资金和政策支持;承担社会责任,维护用户权利;开展多方合作,提升服务能力;发挥ALA的行业引领作用。
American Library Association（ALA） has made the outstanding contribution for the development of the American librarianship.American Library Association 2015 Strategic Plan adopted in June 2010 outlines tasks,strategic goals and main action areas of ALA in the next five years,and highlights its missions and social responsibilities.Through the analysis of American Library Association 2015 Strategic Plan,the development trend of the American librarianship could be summarized following 6 aspects： the diversity of services,collections and staff;using new technologies to promote innovation and change;strengthening the propaganda to strive for funds and policy supports;undertaking the social responsibility and maintaining users＇ rights;cooperating multilaterally to enhance service capabilities;displaying the leadership role of ALA.
