摘要
为了研究级联棱镜电光偏转器中常用的傍轴近似公式的实际适用条件,采用光线追踪方法,数值分析了两种不同模型矩形偏转器的偏转特性,比较分析了近似公式和数值计算之间的偏差。研究表明:采用傍轴近似,其偏转特性和数值计算值有偏差,具体偏差不仅与施加电场、长宽比有关,还与棱镜的数目、形状有关。棱镜数目越多,误差越小,每个棱镜棱角大小越接近,误差越小。当级联的棱镜数目取偶数且大于20后,偏差可减小到0.2%以下。研究结果可为高精度要求的电光偏转器的设计和优化提供一定的参考依据。
To investigate the application conditions of approximate formula for electro-optic deflectors with cascade crystal prisms,the deflection characteristics of two kinds of rectangular deflectors were numerically analyzed by the method of ray tracing.The numerical evaluation was compared with the approximate formula and the errors were studied.The results show that the deflection properties analyzed by ray tracing and by approximate formula were slightly different.The deviation had not only relation to the applied electric-field and the length-width ratio,but also the number and shape of prisms.The greater the number of the prisms in deflector,the less error yields.The less edge angle difference between two prisms is,the less error produces.The errors can be reduced to less than 0.2% when the number of prisms is more than 20.The research results are helpful for the design and optimization of the high-accuracy electro-optic deflectors.
