摘要
网络作业管理系统是建立在操作系统之上的一个中间件软件,主要目的是用来扩展操作系统的作业管理功能。有效地将作业分配给各个计算资源以实现负载平衡是作业管理系统的基本功能。在过去的作业管理系统中常使用的是静态作业调度策略。为了使系统执行用户作业所需的资源消耗最小化,提出了一种基于价格的动态作业分配策略。通过实验对提出的动态调度策略和以前的静态调度策略在对系统的性能影响方面进行了比较分析。最后,发现动态作业调度策略减少了系统对外部作业的响应时间并提高了计算资源的利用率。
Job management system is a kind of middleware based on the operating system.The major function of it is used to extend the job management function of the OS.Efficient allocation of jobs to computing resources for load balancing is essential in the job management system.The static allocation schemes were used for the conventional systems.A price-based dynamic job allocation schemes for job management system were proposed whose objective is to minimize the execution cost of users' jobs.The performance of the proposed dynamic schemes was compared with former static job allocation schemes using experiment.Finally,dynamic schemes minimize the system's response time and improve the utilization of computing resources are found.
