摘要
基质金属蛋白酶-1(matrix metalloproteinase-1,MMP1)属于蛋白水解酶家族成员之一,其主要作用是降解细胞外基质。近年来发现MMP-1基因启动子区存在基因多态性现象,可通过不同的细胞信号转导途径来调控基因转录和蛋白表达,从而影响MMP-1的结构与功能,参与多种疾病的发生、发展。尤其是在呼吸系统疾病中,MMP-1基因多态性起着重要作用。
Matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) is one of protein hydrolysis enzymes, whose main function is able to cleave much protein components of extracellular matrix. Recent findings have shown that there is a functional polymorphism in MMP-1 gene promoter, which is able to regulate genetic transcription and protein expression through different cellular signal transduction pathways, therefore, which has an important effect on structure and function of MMP-1 and is closely related to happening of numerous diseases, especially, MMP-1 polymorphism plays an important role in respiratory system diseases.
