摘要
采用1987～2005年我国省际面板数据,通过建立居民收入对消费影响的收入差距双门槛模型,证实了随着居民收入差距的加大,收入对消费的影响呈现递减态势。从我国各个省份来看,收入差距水平较低的省份数量在下降,而中等收入差距水平省份呈现逐步增加趋势,收入差距水平较高省份数量呈现稳定、缓慢增加的状态。收入差距的加大影响了居民的消费水平,要提高居民消费水平,形成消费、投资、出口协调拉动经济增长的新局面,需要在经济稳定、快速发展的基础上增加居民收入,减少收入差距。
This paper establishes the threshold model to confirm the existence of income gap threshold effects by using China provincial panel data from 1987 to 2005. The result shows that the effect of resident income on consumption reduces as the income gap increases. From the perspective of different provinces, the number of the provinces whose income inequality are in low level decreases, while the number of those in middle level shows gradual increasing trend. The number of provinces in higher level of income disparity shows steady, slow increase. Increased income gap affects the consumption level of residents. To improve the level of consumption, and to form a new situation of consumption, in- vestment and exports harmoniously promoting economic growth, we need to take measures to increase resident income and reduce income gap on the basis of the economic stability and rapid development.
