基于脉冲耦合神经网络提取图像边缘的新方法

摘要 基于脉冲耦合神经网络(PCNN.PulseCoupledNeuralNetwork)是一种依据动物大脑视觉皮层上的同步脉冲发放现象而提出的新型神经网络.提出了一种实用的用PCNN直接提取灰度图像边缘的新方法,从而可直接对256色灰度图像进行边缘提取,解决了文献[4]只能提取二值图像边缘的局限,扩大了该方法的应用范围。仿真结果表明,该方法是行之有效的。 Based on PCNN-pulse coupled neural network which is a new kind of neural network based on the phenomena of synchronous pulse bursts in the animal visual cortex,a new practical approach which can detect grayseale image di- rectly is proposed,and which can dctect edges in a 256 colors gray images directly,solves the limitation which only de- tect edges in binary images in reference 4,extends the application range.Experiment results show that the method is ef- fective and feasible.
