Distribution and Sources of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the Surface Seawater of the Western Xiamen Harbor

摘要 The concentration of PAHs in the surface seawater of the western Xiamen Harbor has been analysed in the paper. The PAHs concnetration at 9 station locations varies greatly within the range of 106.1ng/L ~ 4365ng/L. But PAHs pollution is slight as compared with that in similar areas in other parts of the world. PAHs stem mainly from oil pollution, urban and industrial discharges, and combustion of fuels.
