摘要 基于演出视角的京剧英译和英语京剧研究是一个美国翻译界学者比较感兴趣的领域。美国京剧译者非常重视京剧翻译的演出维度,在尊重京剧风味传译的基础上,给予译者较大的自由,对于其中涉及文化差异之处,遵循动态等效原则,允许译者进行替换和再创造,以演出为主要目的,务必使译文具有可表演性、可说性和可唱性。美国译者魏莉莎甚至组织排演了自己英译的京剧剧本。从非物质文化遗产保护的内在要求和客观现实来审视英美京剧译者基于演出视角的京剧英译和英语京剧实践,对国内的京剧翻译工作来说,具有一定的借鉴意义,同时也可从中吸取一些教训,以走出国外京剧英译和英语京剧的迷宫。 The research of the translation of Peking Opera in America based on performance has been a significant academic field. The translators and researchers of Peking Opera in the US have great interest in the performance ability of English translation of Peking Opera. While sticking to the principle of respecting the flavor of Peking Opera, they propagate permitting proper change and rewriting when coming across cultural differences; targeting for the purpose of performance, the translators should make their translation able to be performed, spoken and sung. Elezabeth Ann Wichmann,an American scholar, even trained her students to perform her English translation of Peking Opera scripts in America and China. From the perspective of the requirements of protecting intangible cultures and the actual situation,their research can be taken as reference while there are also some lessons to draw from and stay away from being trapped in the Labyrinth of foreign research and English Peking Opera practice.
