摘要
目前,矿物淬火油仍在广泛应用。矿物淬火油通过加氢精炼去除S、N、O及某些金属元素是提高其淬火冷却性能和使用寿命的主要手段。矿物淬火油的冷却特性与冷却过程中膜沸腾阶段、核沸腾阶段和对流阶段的温度范围及添加剂等因素有关。指出了矿物淬火油的选用依据,如合乎要求的闪点,较低的油污形成倾向,不锈蚀工件,合适的传热性能等。简述了矿物淬火油的降解过程及其水分、中和酸值、皂化值、灰分、残碳、油污、密度等指标的检测。
The mineral oil based quenchants are being universally used up till the present moment. The quenching performance and the service life of the mineral oil based quenchants can be improved on by hydrotreating to remove sulfur, nitrogen, oxygen and some metal elements from them. The cooling characteristics of the mineral oil based quenchants are related to such factors as temperature ranges of film boiling stage, nuclear boiling stage and convection stage during the quenching, additives and so on. The basis of choosing mineral oil based quenchants were indicated, including flash-point conforming with the requirements, lower tendency to produce sludge, not corroding workpiece, desirable heat transfer performance and so forth. The degradation process and the detections of moisture, neutralization number, saponification number, ash content, conradson carbon residue, sludge, density and other indexes of mineral oil based quenchants were briefly described.
