摘要
Ti50Al50N涂层是一种新型硬质涂层材料,其热稳定性影响切割刀具的使用寿命和切削效率。文中采用热处理模拟实际工况条件,研究利用多弧离子镀技术制备Ti50Al50N硬质涂层的热稳定性,采用SEM、XRD等方法对涂层的形貌和相组成进行分析,并检测经不同温度处理后的涂层显微硬度。结果表明:Ti50Al50N硬质涂层的硬度随温度升高而提高,在850℃达到最大值,之后随温度继续升高而降低。XRD分析结果表明:随着处理温度升高,Ti50Al50N硬质涂层的相组成发生变化,从中析出AlN相;在更高的温度下,涂层中的Al发生氧化,导致涂层硬度下降。结果说明Ti50Al50N硬质涂层在850℃以下热稳定性较好,利于切削工作.
As a new type of hard coating,Ti50Al50N was used in the machining field.Thermal stability of coating plays a key role in the life and cutting efficiency of Ti50Al50N-coated tools.In this paper,the stability of Ti50Al50N coating was investigated through heat treatment that simulated actual working conditions.SEM and XRD were used to study morphologic evolution and phase transformation in the heated coating,and microhardness was measured with tester.The results show that with increasing of temperature,microharness of treated specimen increase and achieve the maximum value at 850 ℃,then decrease.Correspondingly,with increasing of temperature,AlN phase precipitates from coating and at higher temperature oxidation of Al in coating leads to microhardness decrease.It implies that Ti50Al50N coating keeps thermal stability under 850℃,which is conducive to the cutting work.
