摘要 The rise of bioethics has been caused by the gap between the application of advanced technology and the lag behind of the inquiry into social, ethical and legal issues that this application caused. In the 2 1st century the artificial arrangement of human birth, aging, disease and death will more and more push out their natural arrangement. The possible challenges in life sciences and technologies will be in the following fields:genetic engineering, assisted reproductive technologies, cloning, the relationship between individuals, families and community, ethical universalism v.ethical relativism, and the impact of the market. These challenges facing mankind not only include ontological issues aboutwhatthe entity really is,butalso include ethical issues aboutwhatand how ought to be done.
