摘要
文章介绍了都柏林核心元数据组织（DCMI）2011年年会基本情况，着重于相关的热点与讨论内容，以及年会在组织形式上的新变化。通过对DCMI管理层变化的介绍，叙述了DcMI正处于承上启下的发展阶段。文章还通过主办方以及笔者自己对DCMI几位关键人物的访谈，对DcMI近16年来的历史、定位、社区的特点、年会的作用以及未来的发展方向等作了详细的综述，说明了元数据匹配工作、教育以及进一步推广将是DCMI社区今后努力的方向。
This is an annual report on Dublin Core Metadata Initiative and Review of DC-2011 Conference. It inlroduces research activities done by DCMI which is responsible for DC management, mainly including the research and practice on Metadata Harmonization. Meanwhile, the report reviews all activities by DCMI communities a^d task groups, too. DCMI has completed the process of appoinling new Executive Officers this year. The authors interview the new Executive Officers and keynote speaker by the National Library of the Netherlands, review the history of DCMI, and discuss DCMI goals going forward.
