摘要
用户在实际使用遥控器的过程中常产生多种不适应感,影响到对投影机的正常操作,而对其界面通用性进行有效评估是改进其产品设计的重要环节。本文在通用设计概念、原则及研究方法探讨的基础上,将产品性能程序法(PPP)评价法应用于EPSON、SONY和SANYO遥控器的通用设计分析,并基于陌生阶段、熟悉阶段以及使用比较阶段进行相应评估。结果表明,三个品牌在通用性主要性能项目上有不同的表现,对按键界面的理解度、按键数目与操作步骤分配等方面的问题提出了具体建议。可见该方法对评价遥控器的使用效果、明确改进方向具有重要应用价值。
Users may feel uncomfortable when using handheld remote controls,which will affect the normal operation of the projector.Therefore,an effective assessment for products＇ interface is vital in improving product design.In this paper,we apply the PPP method to analyze the universal design of different brands of remote controls（EPSON,SONY and SANYO） on the basis of design concept,design principle and design methodology.We evaluate these three brands in terms of three phases： the defamiliarization stage,the familiarization stage and the comparison stage.The result displays that those three brands of products vary in their primary functions.Then we put forward specific suggestion on button intelligibility,number of buttons and operation procedure.Thus,it can be seen that this method is of great application value in evaluating remote control＇s effect,as well as bettering interface design.
